Description Robert Half is looking for a proficient Senior Accountant to join our client's team. In this role, you will play a vital part in the monthly and year-end preparation, analysis, and reporting of the company's consolidated financial statement results. You will help meet or exceed the expectations of important stakeholders, like the Board of Directors, senior management, and more. Key Responsibilities: - Handle monthly accounting functions for the company's Finance Company and Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) entity: journal entries, account reconciliations, and reporting. - Prepare daily and weekly reconciliation and reporting tasks for the company's Finance Company. - Complete the external bank's monthly servicer report for the SPV entity. - Compile assigned schedules for monthly and quarterly corporate reporting that consolidates financial information for senior management. - Prepare other journal entries, accruals, reserves, balance sheet account reconciliations, and management reporting as needed. - Prepare supporting schedules for external audits and act as a primary contact for external auditors. - Carry out other duties as assigned. *Please note that all candidates are required to provide 2 recent supervisor or manager references in order to be considered for employment.
