Description We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-driven Senior General Ledger Accountant to join our growing Finance team. With a minimum of 7 years of progressive accounting experience, this role will be key in managing critical accounting functions, including general ledger oversight, month-end close, and financial reporting. Experience in cost accounting is a plus. Key Responsibilities: + Lead the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes. + Oversee and maintain the accuracy of the general ledger. + Prepare, review, and post journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reports. + Analyze and reconcile complex balance sheet accounts, ensuring compliance with GAAP. + Provide audit support, including preparing schedules and responding to auditor inquiries. + Contribute to cost accounting functions, including tracking and analyzing manufacturing costs, when applicable. + Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency within the accounting function. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assist with financial planning and budgeting. + Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls. + Manage Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Payroll departments. Requirements Qualifications: + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred. + 10 years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in a fast-paced or startup environment. + Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards. + Advanced proficiency in accounting software and Excel; NetSuite experience is a plus. + Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention to detail skills. + Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment. + Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively across teams. + Cost accounting experience is a significant plus.
