Description
We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Sr. Accountant in Napa County, California. The role involves working in the manufacturing industry and requires a highly organized and detail-oriented candidate. As a Sr. Accountant, you will be tasked with managing the general ledger, conducting financial analysis, and overseeing fixed asset accounting.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct detailed financial analysis to support business decisions
• Manage and maintain the General Ledger
• Oversee Fixed Asset Accounting to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Utilize Microsoft Excel to perform advanced data analysis and reporting
• Conduct regular balance sheet reconciliations
• Prepare and post journal entries as necessary
• Undertake cost analysis to identify opportunities for financial efficiency
Requirements • Proficient in Balance Sheet Reconciliation
• Extensive knowledge of General Ledger management
• Experience in creating and managing Journal Entries
• Proficient in using Microsoft Excel
• Ability to handle Month End Close activities
• Skilled in performing Cost Analysis
• Knowledge of Fixed Asset Accounting
• Strong skills in Financial Analysis
