Description We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Accountant to oversee our financial operations and ensure compliance with industry standards. The Sr. Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, overseeing accounting functions, and ensuring accuracy in financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have experience in the tech industry and a solid understanding of corporate finance, tax compliance, and financial forecasting. Key Responsibilities: + Oversee and manage general accounting functions, including accounts payable and receivable. + Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports. + Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and industry-specific financial policies. + Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decision-making. + Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning. + Lead month-end and year-end closing processes. + Coordinate with external auditors and tax professionals. + Implement and maintain accounting systems and internal controls. Requirements + 5+ years of experience in accounting, preferably within the technology sector. + CPA certification or equivalent is preferred. + Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and tax compliance. + Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, or similar ERP systems). + Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. + Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple financial tasks. + Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
