Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Sr. Accountant in the non-profit industry, located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, United States. As a Sr. Accountant, you will be responsible for preparing and handling all necessary documents for our annual audit. You will also be tasked with maintaining our financial records, performing account and balance sheet reconciliations, and managing our general ledger.
Responsibilities
• Conducting operational audits to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Handling all aspects of month-end close procedures
• Managing the general ledger and making necessary journal entries
• Performing account, balance sheet, and bank reconciliations
• Utilizing Microsoft Excel to create and manipulate financial data
• Gaining proficiency in NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP for financial management
• Preparing and filing Tax Form 990 as per regulations
• Assisting in the preparation for the annual audit
• Creating and modifying Excel formulas for efficient data processing
• Ensuring the accuracy of all financial data and records. Requirements • Must possess strong skills in Account Reconciliation
• Proficiency in Balance Sheet Reconciliation is required
• Demonstrated ability to perform Bank Reconciliations
• Must have a solid understanding of the General Ledger
• Ability to prepare and analyze Journal Entries is necessary
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required
• Experience with Month End Close processes is mandatory
• Must have experience with NetSuite software
• Proficiency in Oracle software is required
• Familiarity with SAP software is necessary
• Must have experience with Audit - Operational
• Knowledge of Tax - Form 990 is required
• Must be proficient in Excel Formulas
