Description We are on the lookout for a Sr. Accountant to be a part of our team in Dallas, Texas. As a Sr. Accountant, your key role will be to manage and record financial transactions, ensure the accuracy of financial statements, and provide financial information to various departments. This role also includes performing cash flow analysis, facility valuations, and balance sheet reconciliations. Responsibilities: • Accurately recording monthly journal entries for designated facilities. • Conducting financial statement variance analysis to verify the accuracy of facility-level financial statements, which includes a detailed review of revenue and reserve analysis. • Serving as a resource for facility contacts and for internal departments by providing and explaining financial statement information. • Performing cash flow analysis on a monthly and quarterly basis to support distribution calculations. • Carrying out facility valuations. • Conducting balance sheet reconciliations monthly, including bank reconciliations, for assigned facilities. • Providing necessary documentation to both internal and external auditors. • Actively participating in the annual budgeting process and providing guidance to facilities as needed. • Assisting with special projects. • Facilitating the completion of monthly close procedures, including roll forwards and reconciliations. • Preparing and distributing monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages. • Providing quarterly budget-to-actual comparisons to department heads. • Assisting in preparing the company’s yearly budget. • Undertaking other duties within the facility accounting team, as per experience. Requirements • Proven experience in Account Reconciliation • Proficient in Balance Sheet Reconciliation • Demonstrated ability in performing Bank Reconciliations • Solid understanding of the General Ledger • Experience in preparing and analyzing Journal Entries • Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel for accounting tasks • Ability to handle Month End Close procedures • Experience with NetSuite software is a must • Knowledge of Oracle software for accounting tasks • Familiarity with SAP software usage in accounting Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
