Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Accountant in Fort Worth, Texas. The candidate will be involved in managing the financial operations of a portfolio of properties. Working within the real estate industry, you will be expected to record cash activity, reconcile balances, and maintain accounts payable while providing detail oriented reports to investors. Responsibilities: • Manage daily posting of accounts payable, including inter-company billings. • Oversee and record daily receipts, processing bank deposits as necessary. • Conduct monthly bank reconciliations and cash activity recording. • Reconcile mortgage and reserve balances on a regular basis. • Produce tenant statements and non-recurring charges as required. • Ensure the accurate and timely preparation of monthly financial reporting packages with supporting schedules. • Handle the creation of monthly Construction Draws. • Assist in the processing of year-end 1099 statements. • Address inquiries received through the Accounting inbox. • Organize, distribute, and electronically save mail accordingly. • Monitor and ensure timely payment of both ad hoc and recurring expenses. Requirements • Candidate must possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role as a Sr. Accountant. • Proficiency in Balance Sheet Reconciliation is required. • Experience with Yardi software is a must. • Knowledge and experience in Commercial Real Estate is essential. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required. • Experience with Full Cycle Accounting is a must.
