Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Accountant in GREENFIELD, Indiana, 46140-9130, United States. The successful candidate will be involved in a range of duties including intercompany consolidations, reconciliation, general ledger maintenance, and month-end close procedures. This role is in the corporate accounting sector. Responsibilities: • Oversee the process of intercompany accounting and consolidations. • Conduct account reconciliation tasks with high accuracy. • Manage the preparation and maintenance of balance sheet reconciliations. • Execute bank reconciliation procedures as per the company's policies. • Administer the preparation and posting of journal entries. • Utilize Microsoft Excel for various accounting-related tasks. • Oversee the month-end close process ensuring timelines are met. • Maintain accurate general ledger records to ensure financial integrity. Requirements • Candidate should hold a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role. • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is required. • Proficiency in Balance Sheet Reconciliation is vital. • Applicant must be well-versed in Bank Reconciliations. • Mastery of General Ledger activities is a must. • Ability to handle Journal Entries effectively. • Experience with Microsoft Excel is required. • Proficiency in executing Month End Close tasks is essential. • Experience in Intercompany Accounting is required. • Knowledge of Consolidations is a key requirement.
