Description We are in search of a Sr. Accountant to join our team in Memphis, Tennessee. The chosen candidate will be instrumental in ensuring the precision and integrity of our financial operations, which includes handling account reconciliations, balance sheets, and the general ledger. This role necessitates a robust comprehension of financial systems, advanced Excel capabilities, and a dedication to excellence. Responsibilities • Operate and manage financial systems such as NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP to improve accounting procedures. • Lead and contribute to the month-end close process, ensuring the prompt and accurate production of financial statements. • Utilize advanced Microsoft Excel skills for financial analysis, reporting, and data validation. • Conduct account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance. • Prepare and record journal entries for various business transactions. • Perform detailed balance sheet reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies promptly. • Manage and maintain the general ledger, making sure all entries are accurate and posted swiftly. • Conduct and examine bank reconciliations, investigating and resolving any variances. • Assist with other accounting projects and ad hoc analyses as needed. Requirements • The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a Senior Accountant role or similar. • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is required. • Expertise in Balance Sheet Reconciliation is essential. • Experience in performing Bank Reconciliations is necessary. • The candidate should be able to maintain and update the General Ledger. • The candidate should be proficient in making Journal Entries. • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel are required. • Experience in Month End Close process is necessary. • Proficiency in using NetSuite is important. • Knowledge of Oracle is required. • The candidate should be familiar with SAP.
