Description One of our growing St. Paul clients is looking for a Senior Accountant to take charge of essential accounting functions across multiple locations. This role involves handling financial reporting, general ledger, taxation, fixed assets, banking, and more, while collaborating closely with senior leadership to optimize operations. Responsibilities include preparing financial results, leading month-end/year-end closings, managing audits, GL recons, and improving processes. You'll also reconcile accounts, oversee fixed assets, and cross-train with the accounting team to ensure flexibility. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role • Proficiency in Corporate Accounting • Experience with Month End Close procedures • Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) • Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Strong attention to detail and accuracy • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is preferred but not mandatory.
