Description We are seeking a Sr. Accountant to join our team in the construction industry. In this role, you will be responsible for processing and maintaining accurate financial records and resolving any issues that arise. You will also monitor accounts and take appropriate actions when necessary. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity. Responsibilities: • Accurately process applications related to customer credit • Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of customer credit • Resolve any inquiries from customers in a timely and detail-oriented manner • Regularly monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary • Assist with cash applications as needed • Support all aspects of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable • Carry out account and balance sheet reconciliations • Work with General Ledger and Journal Entries • Utilize Microsoft Excel for various tasks • Perform month-end close activities • Use NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP as required in the role. Requirements • Proven experience in the construction/contractor industry. • Demonstrated proficiency in Account Reconciliation. • Proficiency in Balance Sheet Reconciliation. • Experience with Bank Reconciliations. • Solid understanding of General Ledger management. • Ability to perform Journal Entries accurately. • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel. • Experience with Month End Close processes. • Proficiency in using NetSuite accounting software. • Familiarity with Oracle financial systems. • Prior experience with SAP software is highly desirable.
