Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Sr. Accountant in Denver, Colorado. The Sr. Accountant will play a key role in rectifying data inaccuracies and communicating with various business units to understand the implications of incorrect or incomplete data. The ideal candidate will have a robust systems background, with experience in the ERP systems, and advanced Excel abilities. Responsibilities: • Addressing and rectifying data issues within the accounting system • Communicating effectively with business units to comprehend the effects of incorrect or incomplete data • Utilizing advanced Excel skills for various accounting tasks • Employing ERP systems for accounting purposes • Handling account reconciliation duties • Performing balance sheet reconciliation tasks • Conducting bank reconciliations • Managing general ledger activities • Preparing and posting journal entries • Assisting with month-end close processes • Handling client communications proficiently • Managing purchase requisitions and purchase orders. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is necessary • Ability to perform Balance Sheet Reconciliation • Experience in handling Bank Reconciliations • Knowledge of General Ledger management is required • Capability to manage Journal Entries effectively • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must • Experience in Month End Close procedures • Familiarity with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is preferred • Strong skills in Client Communications are necessary • Ability to handle Purchase Requisitions efficiently • Experience in managing Purchase Orders is required Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
