Sr. Accountant

Description We are currently seeking a Sr. Accountant to join our team in Dallas, Texas. This role entails reconciling bank accounts, booking cash entries, reviewing and booking credit card expenses, and maintaining fixed assets for all entities. This is a short-term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Carry out bank account reconciliations and cash entries booking across various entities
• Oversee and record credit card expenditures
• Generate accrual and other monthly accounting entries such as Accounts Payable, Volume Rebates, and Cost of Goods Sold
• Manage Fixed Assets for all entities utilizing QuickBooks Fixed Assets module
• Conduct Account Reconciliations
• Employ Microsoft Excel for data management and analysis
• Lead the process of month-end close
• Execute balance sheet reconciliations
• Ensure accurate and efficient processing of journal entries. Requirements • The candidate must possess a minimum of 7 years of experience in the accounting field.
• Proficiency in account reconciliation is required.
• Proficiency in balance sheet reconciliation is required.
• The candidate must have experience in bank reconciliations.
• The candidate must have experience working with the general ledger.
• The candidate must have the ability to create and manage journal entries.
• The candidate must have a strong command of Microsoft Excel.
• The candidate must have experience in month-end close procedures.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks is required.
