Description We are in search of a Senior Accountant to join our team. The position is based in Boston, Massachusetts, 02110, United States. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity. The Senior Accountant will be tasked with a variety of responsibilities, including the processing of customer applications, maintaining customer records, and resolving customer inquiries. The role also involves monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate action. Responsibilities: • Streamline accounting workflows and financial reporting using tools such as NetSuite and Excel • Balance financial accounts by reconciling entries and maintaining a comprehensive general ledger • Process month-end close procedures and generate journal entries • Perform account and balance sheet reconciliations • Utilize Microsoft Excel for financial modeling and data analysis • Operate within accounting software systems such as Oracle and SAP • Work independently in a remote environment while effectively collaborating with the team. Requirements • Must possess a deep understanding of Account Reconciliation. • Experience with Balance Sheet Reconciliation is essential. • Familiarity with Bank Reconciliations is required. • Proficiency in managing General Ledger is necessary. • Ability to perform Journal Entries accurately and efficiently. • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel are required. • Must be adept at Month End Close procedures. • Experience with NetSuite software is a plus. • Familiarity with Oracle financial software is desired. • Knowledge of SAP accounting software is beneficial.
