Description Robert Half is currently seeking a highly motived Senior Accountant for a client of ours in the Rockledge, FL area. As a Senior Accountant, you will oversee the complete accounting cycle for the company, manage accounts payables and receivables, and ensure the general ledger's accuracy. We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity. Responsibilities: • Oversee the full cycle of accounting operations, ensuring efficiency and compliance. • Manage accounts payable and receivable, including processing invoices and vendor expenses. • Maintain and reconcile the general ledger to ensure accuracy and completeness. • Perform monthly bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner. • Prepare and deliver accurate financial statements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. • Create and post journal entries, demonstrating a deep understanding of accounting principles. • Handle payroll tax calculations and annual payroll filings with precision. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial reporting and decision-making. Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel • Experience in ERP systems • Comprehensive knowledge of Accounting Functions • Familiarity with Accounts Payable (AP) procedures • Experience in managing Accounts Receivable (AR) • Understanding of Full Cycle Accounting • Ability to perform Bank Reconciliations • Familiarity with month-end and year-end close • Skills to Enter Vendor Invoices accurately • Experience in preparing Financial Statements Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
