Sr. Accountant
Description We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a Sr. Accountant in Chattanooga, Tennessee. The role is primarily within the construction industry, and the successful applicant will be expected to carry out various tasks related to account reconciliation, general ledger management, and journal entries. Responsibilities: • Conducting audits on accounts, coding, and ongoing projects • Assisting with the creation and implementation of Standard Operating Procedures • Managing other tasks as required for the role. • Ensuring the accurate processing and coding of invoices • Using Microsoft Excel to maintain and manage data • Keeping accurate customer accounts Requirements -BA/BS in Accounting - Minimum 5-7 years of overall general accounting experience - Highly organized and self-motivated - Demonstrated skills in interacting effectively, both verbally and in writing - Experience with reporting, accounts receivable, and accounts payable. - Adeptness in Payments Reconciliation - Comprehensive knowledge of account reconciliation - Ability to prioritize work and balance multiple projects and deadlines - Skillful in analytical, quantitative and social skills **All candidates must undergo drug and background screening for consideration Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
