Description We are on the lookout for a REMOTE Sr. Accountant. As a Sr. Accountant, your role will encompass handling customer applications, ensuring accurate customer records, and addressing customer inquiries. There will be a focus on monitoring customer accounts and taking the needed action. Responsibilities: + Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and account reconciliation + Support revenue recognition and weekly deposit processing + Book and reconcile investment activity + Track and report temporarily restricted funds, release as needed, and provide grant reporting + Ensure revenue is posted to the GL per GAAP and maintain fixed assets + Assist with corporate credit card processing and ensure compliance with regulations + Support month/year-end close, audit, and tax processes + Analyze financial data and prepare timely reports + Oversee cash management, post journal entries, and execute cash transfers + Approve Expensify reimbursement reports and review Bill.com transactions for accuracy + Maintain accounting system and administer banking information + Lead system improvements, update policies, and mentor accounting staff + Serve as payroll backup and perform other duties as needed.
