Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Accountant in the service industry, based in Ann Arbor, Michigan. In this role, you will be working closely with the accounting team to manage and analyze financial transactions and prepare relevant reports. Your responsibilities will also include managing various accounting tasks, executing banking transactions, and maintaining accurate financial records. Responsibilities • Accurately processing and evaluating financial transactions and accounting subledgers • Participating in the preparation of financial statements and reports • Managing General Ledger tasks including the posting of journal entries • Reconciling monthly balance sheet accounts and performing account analysis • Executing banking transactions and preparing cash flow forecasts • Handling intercompany eliminations and reconciling intercompany transactions • Recording, tracking, and depreciating fixed assets and accounting for their disposition • Utilizing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Software for various accounting tasks • Reconciliation of account balances and bank statements • Participating in the Month End Close process and Project Billing • Utilizing Microsoft Excel for various accounting tasks and analysis. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the accounting field is required. • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is necessary. • Experience in Balance Sheet Reconciliation is essential. • Familiarity with Bank Reconciliations is required. • A strong understanding of the General Ledger is necessary. • Ability to make accurate Journal Entries is a must. • Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel is required. • Experience in Month End Close operations is crucial. • Knowledge of Intercompany Eliminations is mandatory. • Familiarity with Intercompany Accounting is a must. • Experience in Project Billing is highly desired. • Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics CRM is required.
