Description We are in the Healthcare industry, located in a major city in the Midwest, and we're offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Sr. Accountant. As a Sr. Accountant, you will be expected to execute a variety of tasks, including account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, and handling general ledger activities. Responsibilities: • Execute extensive balance sheet reconciliation and financial analysis. • Investigate and gather supporting documentation for accounting purposes. • Implement and standardize reconciliation processes and formats. • Operate independently and maintain a problem-solving attitude. • Utilize advanced Microsoft Excel for various accounting tasks. • Preferred, but not mandatory, experience with Peoplesoft. • Handle general ledger activities and journal entries. • Perform month-end close tasks. • Experience with NetSuite, Oracle, or SAP is advantageous. • Conduct bank reconciliations as part of the regular duties.
