Description We are looking for a meticulous and experienced Sr. Accountant to join our non-profit client on a temporary basis. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity. As a Sr. Accountant, you will be instrumental in supporting the financial control function, with a focus on A-133 audit and Form 990 completion. Responsibilities • Assist in the completion of A-133 audit process and ensure its completion in a timely and accurate manner. • Assist in the preparation of the Form 990 for the organization. • Analyze financial statements, identifying and interpreting trends or patterns. • Assist in the year-end closing process and audit preparation. • Maintain and update financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations. • Provide support to the Controller in various accounting tasks and projects. Requirements • Must have experience in non-profit • Proficiency in Tax - Form 990 is required • Familiarity with OMB A-133 Audit • Ability to review Financial Statements is necessary • Experience in analyzing Financial Statements is a must • Must hold a Senior Accountant position or similar role • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Must be proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field is required • Must be able to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion • Strong decision-making and leadership abilities Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
