We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Accountant to join our client in Hampton, New Hampshire. In this role, you will be expected to handle tasks such as financial statement preparation, cash flow analysis, account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, and general ledger management. You will also work with the auditors in this Sr. Accountant role. Sr. Accountant Responsibilities: • Conducting Account Reconciliation to ensure accurate and efficient financial records. • Handling Balance Sheet Reconciliation to ensure the accuracy of financial data. • Performing Bank Reconciliations to ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded. • Managing the General Ledger, keeping track of all financial transactions. • Preparing Journal Entries to document business transactions. • Utilizing Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting. • Overseeing the Month End Close process to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting. • Conducting Cash Flow Analysis to monitor the company's financial health. • Preparing Cash Flow Reports to provide detailed insights into the company's cash flow. • Preparing Financial Statements to provide an accurate and complete picture of the company's financial performance. Requirements • Proficiency in account reconciliation, with a keen eye for identifying and resolving discrepancies. • Extensive experience in balance sheet reconciliation, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded. • Capable of managing bank reconciliations, validating all bank transactions for accuracy and completeness. • Profound understanding of the general ledger, maintaining and updating it as necessary. • Expertise in preparing journal entries, ensuring all financial data is accurately and promptly recorded. • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to create, manage, and analyze data effectively. • Experience in managing month-end close procedures, ensuring all financial data is updated and reconciled. • Ability to perform cash flow analysis, identifying trends, and providing accurate financial forecasts. • Skilled in creating cash flow reports, providing clear and concise financial data to stakeholders. • Expertise in financial statement preparation, ensuring all financial reports are accurate, complete, and compliant with accounting standards and regulations.
