Description We are seeking a Sr. Accountant to join our client's team in the Government sector. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including day to day general ledger activity, grant accounting, account reconciliations, bank reconciliations, journal entries, month end close activities, maintaining financial records, and assisting with audits. Your role will be crucial in ensuring the efficient and accurate preparation of financial reports and reconciling accounts. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field; supplemented by 3 years of directly related experience; or an equivalent combination of education, certification, training, and/or experience. Proficiency in Account Reconciliations and general ledger management is a requirement for this role. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a requirement.
