Description Are you a detail-driven accounting professional with a passion for cost accounting and financial accuracy? We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join the team in a high-impact role that offers long-term growth and leadership opportunities. This position is perfect for someone with a strong background in the manufacturing industry and expertise in cost accounting, full-cycle payroll, collections, and accounts receivable. As part of our team, you'll play a pivotal role in driving operational efficiency, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and providing insights to guide decision-making. Key Responsibilities Cost Accounting: + Analyze manufacturing costs, inventory valuations, and variances to ensure accurate product costing. + Conduct cost analyses to guide decision-making and enhance profitability. + Collaborate with production teams to improve cost management strategies. Full-Cycle Payroll: + Process and manage full-cycle payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance. + Reconcile payroll accounts to the general ledger and resolve discrepancies. Accounts Receivable and Collections: + Monitor accounts receivable to ensure on-time collections and optimize cash flow. + Perform credit analysis and establish payment terms to maintain healthy client relationships. Financial Reporting & General Ledger: + Prepare financial statements, journal entries, reconciliations, and performance analyses. + Participate in monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities. ERP System Expertise: + Leverage ERP systems to streamline workflows and generate detailed financial reports. Salary Range: $65,000 - $75,000 Benefits Offered: - Healthcare Benefits: Medical, Dental, and Vision - Retirement Plan: 401k - PTO: 2 weeks Requirements Qualifications Professional Experience: + Minimum of 4 years of accounting experience. A focus on manufacturing and cost accounting a plus. + Hands-on expertise with full-cycle payroll and accounts receivable/collections. Education: + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory). Technical Skills: + Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or comparable). + Proficiency in ADP a plus. + Advanced skills in Excel and strong attention to analytical detail.
