Sr. Accountant
Description Our client is seeking a Sr. Accountant on a contract basis in Bergen County, New Jersey, United States. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for monthly closing processes, managing fixed assets, and handling accounts payables and receivables. You will also be tasked with account reconciliation and maintaining the general ledger. Responsibilities: • Oversee the monthly closing process and ensure timely completion. • Manage and maintain records of fixed assets. • Handle accounts payable and receivables to ensure smooth financial operations. • Perform account reconciliations to verify accuracy of transactions. • Maintain the general ledger by recording and verifying journal entries. • Use Microsoft Excel to track, analyze, and report financial data. • Reconciliation of the balance sheet and bank statements.
