Description Our client is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team! This role is ideal for a driven accounting professional with solid skills in general ledger management, financial reporting, and compliance. The Senior Accountant will play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely financial processes while also contributing to strategic decision-making. Key Responsibilities: + Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reports to ensure accuracy and alignment with GAAP standards. + Coordinate the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes. + Analyze financial data to identify variances, trends, and opportunities for improvement. + Manage fixed assets, depreciation schedules, and ROI calculations. + Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to streamline financial workflows. + Support the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts. + Ensure compliance with internal controls and external regulations. + Assist in audits, including preparing necessary documentation and responding to inquiries. Requirements + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA or CMA preferred. + 3+ years of experience in accounting or a related function. + Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills. + Strong understanding of GAAP and other applicable accounting standards. + Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. + Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications:. + Knowledge of tax regulations and experience in tax reporting. + Familiarity with SEC reporting (if applicable).
