Sr. Accountant
Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Sr. Accountant in Greenville, South Carolina. The role encompasses a wide range of accounting functions, with a focus on compensation area procedures, management reporting, and collaboration with business partners for compliance with corporate accounting policies. Responsibilities: • Delivering monthly accounting close procedures, primarily focusing on the compensation area. • Developing monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet analysis for management reporting. • Collaborating with business partners to ensure adherence to corporate accounting policies, procedures, and controls. • Conducting financial statement preparation and consolidation, account analysis and reconciliations, cash flow analysis, budgets, and forecasting. • Providing insightful analysis on financial results, including trends, performance metrics, and benchmarks. • Assisting in coordinating quarterly reviews and SOX testing with internal and external auditors. • Preparing and reconciling Balance Sheet accounts. • Striving for continuous improvement in the automation of the accounting and reporting process. • Participating in various department-wide initiatives. • Undertaking ad-hoc projects as required. Requirements • Proven experience in Account Reconciliation • Proficiency in Balance Sheet Reconciliation • Demonstrable skills in Bank Reconciliations • Solid understanding of General Ledger management • Ability to perform Journal Entries accurately • Extensive experience with Microsoft Excel • Experience in conducting Month End Close activities • Familiarity with NetSuite software • Knowledge of Oracle financial software • Proficiency in using SAP for accounting purposes Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
