Sr. Accountant
Description We are in the process of recruiting a Sr. Accountant to assist one of our clients in a 6-month long project. The individual in this role will be tasked with processing, maintaining and reviewing historical data, performing reconciliations, assisting with financial reporting and providing audit support. This role will be located in Portland, Oregon. Responsibilities: • Handle the task of uploading and reviewing historical data into a new ERP. • Oversee financial reporting, including reviewing balance sheets and profit & loss statements for accuracy. • Undertake thorough review of statements, verifying that metrics appear appropriate. • Leverage skills in Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, Bank Reconciliations, General Ledger, and Journal Entries. • Take on the manual process of reviewing statements to verify the accuracy of metrics and detect any missing elements. • If possible, run reports through Workday ERP. • Offer support for audit processes as requested. Requirements • 3+ years of experience working as a Senior Accountant. • Proficiency in Account Reconciliations, Balance Sheet Reconciliations and Bank Reconciliations. • Demonstrable skills in General Ledger management. • Ability to prepare and manage Journal Entries is needed. • Advanced Proficiency in Excel is required - including pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions. • Familiarity with Workday ERP software is a must.
