Description We are looking for a skilled Sr. Accountant to join our team in Wilmington, Delaware. As a Sr. Accountant, your main role will be to manage and assist with the preparation of payroll and related tax filings, compile and analyze financial information, reconcile accounts, and assist with monthly closings and the preparation of monthly financial statements. Responsibilities: • Oversee the accurate preparation of payroll for employees and related tax filings • Compile, analyze, and prepare entries for financial information to the book of accounts • Reconcile sub-ledger accounts and verify contracts, orders, and vouchers • Prepare reports to substantiate financial transactions • Review and correct any errors and inconsistencies in financial entries, documents, and reports • Assist in the collection efforts and the preparation of Time & Material and AIA invoices • Aid in monthly closings and the preparation of monthly financial statements • Prepare analysis of accounts as requested and work with the accounting team to continually improve efficiency • Assist with year-end closing and implementing and maintaining internal financial controls and procedures. Requirements The ideal Senior Accountant will have a Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance.
