Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Sr. Accountant in Tinton Falls, New Jersey, United States. This role is crucial in maintaining the financial health and procedures of our operations. As a Sr. Accountant, you will be involved in various accounting duties including account and balance sheet reconciliations, managing the general ledger, and utilizing different accounting software like Oracle, SAP, and NetSuite. Responsibilities: • Conducting thorough account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance • Reconciling balance sheets and delivering summary reconciliations • Accruals and prepaids analysis. • Performing bank reconciliations regularly to ensure accuracy • Managing and maintaining the general ledger system • Preparing and adjusting journal entries • Utilizing Microsoft Excel for data compilation and analysis • Ensuring the timely completion of month-end close activities Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is required • Must have experience in Balance Sheet Reconciliation • Ability to perform Bank Reconciliations is necessary • Familiarity with General Ledger management is a must • Experience in creating and managing Journal Entries is required • Must be adept in using Microsoft Excel for financial tasks • Experience in Month End Close procedures is necessary • Knowledge of NetSuite software is a distinct advantage Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
