Description We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant for a hybrid opportunity. This role involves overseeing financial reporting, managing month-end and year-end close, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Pay: $45.00 - $55.00 (DOE) Key Responsibilities + Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and variance reports. + Oversee month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and reconciliations. + Manage accrual accounting, fixed assets, and general ledger reconciliations. + Ensure GAAP compliance and assist with audit preparations. + Support cash flow forecasting, tax filings, and internal process improvements. + Assist with A/P, A/R, and payroll functions as needed. + Utilize ERP systems (NetSuite, Sage, or similar) and advanced Excel for financial analysis and reporting. Requirements Qualifications + 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in construction, real estate, or manufacturing. + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CPA track preferred). + Strong understanding of GAAP, accrual-based accounting, and financial reporting. + Proficiency in ERP systems and Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and financial modeling). + Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
