Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Accountant in Haverhill, Massachusetts, United States. This role is situated within the manufacturing industry and will involve the management of various financial processes and tasks. Responsibilities: • Oversee the process of customer credit applications with accuracy and efficiency. • Maintain precise records of customer credit. • Ensure customer inquiries are resolved effectively. • Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions when required. • Manage the monthly financial close process, including the preparation of journal entries and reconciliations of the general ledger account. • Prepare both regular and ad hoc financial reports. • Oversee cash applications processes, such as weekly forecasting, cash receipts, and payments via wire/check. • Lead the management of accounts receivable, credit, and collections. • Process weekly payroll and guarantee accurate reporting. • Handle a variety of finance-related tasks and special projects as needed. • Ensure sales tax reporting is accurate and timely. Please send emails to Joseph Slattery via Linkedin Requirements • The candidate must possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role. • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is required. • Expertise in Balance Sheet Reconciliation is essential. • The candidate should have experience in Bank Reconciliations. • Familiarity with General Ledger is expected. • The ability to handle Journal Entries is required. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential. • Experience in Month End Close activities is necessary. • Knowledge of NetSuite software is a plus. • Familiarity with Oracle systems is beneficial. • The candidate should have experience with SAP. • Knowledge of Great Plains (GPAC) is an advantage. • Prior experience in the Manufacturing sector is desirable.
