Description We are in search of a Sr. Accountant to become a part of our team based in Boston, Massachusetts. This role involves handling the accounting and financial aspects of multiple entities, providing budget analysis, and overseeing the impact of claims on financials. Furthermore, you will be expected to review the work of the Accounts Payable personnel and provide mentorship when necessary, as well as reviewing outsourced payroll. Responsibilities: • Oversee the accounting and financials for multiple entities • Conduct budget analysis to assist in financial planning • Examine the effects of claims on the company's financials • Review and provide guidance to the Accounts Payable team • Validate outsourced payroll to ensure accuracy • Utilize accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP for various tasks • Perform account reconciliations, balance sheet reconciliations, and bank reconciliations • Maintain the general ledger and make necessary journal entries • Use Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting • Ensure timely completion of month-end close activities. Requirements • The candidate must have a minimum of 3 years of experience as a Sr. Accountant or in a similar role. • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is essential for this position. • The ability to handle Balance Sheet Reconciliation effectively is required. • The candidate must have experience with Bank Reconciliations. • Knowledge and experience in the use of General Ledger are required. • The candidate must be adept at creating and managing Journal Entries. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must. • Experience with Month End Close is necessary for this role. • The candidate must have hands-on experience with NetSuite. • Familiarity with Oracle is a requirement for this role. • The candidate must have experience working with SAP.
