Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Accountant to join our team in Deerfield Beach, Florida. This role is in the education industry where you will be handling various accounting tasks in a multi-entity environment. Responsibilities: • Accurately process and record journal entries • Perform month-end reconciliation tasks • Generate and analyze financial statements • Handle intercompany transactions and reconciliations • Use NetSuite for various accounting tasks • Conduct balance sheet and bank reconciliations • Maintain the general ledger and ensure its accuracy • Utilize Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting • Work in a fast-paced environment with room for detail-oriented growth • Use Oracle and SAP for various accounting functions. Requirements • Must have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field • Proven work experience as a Senior Accountant • Strong knowledge and experience in account reconciliation • Proficiency in balance sheet reconciliation • Ability to perform bank reconciliations accurately and efficiently • Solid understanding of the general ledger and the ability to manage it effectively • Experience in making journal entries and ensuring their accuracy • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and ability to use it for accounting tasks • Experience in handling month-end close activities • Familiarity with NetSuite and ability to use it for accounting tasks Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
