Description We are eager to welcome a Sr. Accountant to our team in Jacksonville, Florida. As a Sr. Accountant, you will play a vital role in maintaining the fiscal integrity of our operations. You will be tasked with ensuring financial records are accurate and up-to-date, reconciling accounts, and providing critical support to our accounting department. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity. Responsibilities: • Ensure the timely and accurate processing of journal entries • Conduct account reconciliation to maintain the accuracy of financial information • Handle balance sheet reconciliation tasks, ensuring all financial data aligns • Manage bank reconciliations to confirm all transactions align with bank records • Contribute to month-end close processes to maintain accurate financial records • Utilize Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting tasks • Leverage Oracle, SAP, and NetSuite for various accounting functions • Maintain a strong understanding of accounting principles to guide job duties • Adapt to a fast-paced work environment and complete tasks efficiently • Pay close attention to detail in all accounting tasks to ensure accuracy and compliance. Requirements • Must hold a minimum of 3 years of experience in a Senior Accountant role or similar. • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is required. • Experience in Balance Sheet Reconciliation is essential. • Familiarity with Bank Reconciliations is mandatory. • Must possess in-depth knowledge of General Ledger management. • Ability to create and manage Journal Entries is needed. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required. • Experience in Month End Close tasks is essential. • Knowledge of NetSuite software is a significant advantage. • Familiarity with Oracle software is highly desirable. • Experience with SAP software is beneficial.
