Description Our rapidly growing client in the architecture industry is looking for a Sr. Accountant to join their team in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. As a Sr. Accountant, you will be tasked with managing full cycle accounting, handling invoicing, and utilizing your strong Excel skills. In addition, you will be expected to communicate effectively in a fast paced environment. Responsibilities: • Execute full cycle accounting tasks to maintain financial clarity • Generate invoices and manage the billing process • Utilize Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting • Engage in effective communication to resolve finance-related issues • Oversee account reconciliation and balance sheet reconciliation processes • Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy • Manage general ledger entries and month-end close procedures • Maintain precise records for future reference and auditing Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Senior Accountant role or similar position • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance • Proficient in Account Reconciliation • Demonstrated expertise in Balance Sheet Reconciliation • Experience with Bank Reconciliations • Solid understanding of General Ledger operations • Proficiency in preparing and posting Journal Entries • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel • Proven experience with Month End Close processes • Strong software skills, ideally with experience with an ERP system Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
