Description Robert Half is recruiting a strong Senior Accountant/ Consultant for our Manufacturing client in the Inland Empire. The consultant will work alongside the controller to prepare month end close including prepaids, accounts payable, accruals and expenses. This will include manual input of all journal entries.and reconciliation of accounts. The consultant must be experienced with full-scope Accounts Payable activities coding invoices to appropriate accounts, reconcile vendor and customer statements and resolve discrepancies. This role will be located onsite in Pomona, CA. Technical Skills: -Utilize QuickBooks to input, retrieve, or display accounting information - Excel data analysis and management skills -Prepaids and heavy accruals experience Soft Skills: - Ability to understand business processes quickly - Highly organized and takes initiative - Communicates effectively with various levels within the organization Requirements • Position: Sr. Accountant • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation • Expertise in Balance Sheet Reconciliation • Knowledge and experience in managing General Ledger • Ability to handle Journal Entries • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel • Experience in Month End Close procedures • Proficiency in QuickBooks • Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
