Description We are in search of a Sr. Accountant to join our team in the Real Estate & Property industry, situated in south Orange County. As a Sr. Accountant, your role will involve maintaining financial records, verifying the accuracy of invoices and budgets, and performing detailed reconciliations and analysis. This opportunity offers a long-term contract employment opportunity. Responsibilities: • Accurately process journal entries and ensure their correctness • Thoroughly review invoices and budgets to ensure their accuracy • Utilize Microsoft Excel skills to manage large data sets • Perform comprehensive account, balance sheet, and bank reconciliations • Oversee the general ledger and ensure its accuracy • Successfully execute month-end close procedures • Utilize software such as NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP for various accounting tasks • Demonstrate the ability to work independently and solve problems as they arise. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation with a high level of accuracy. • Demonstrated ability in Balance Sheet Reconciliation, ensuring financial statements are correct. • Experience with Bank Reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies. • Solid understanding of General Ledger operations and maintenance. • Ability to prepare and record Journal Entries as per company policies. • Proficient in Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting. • Experience in Month End Close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting. • Working knowledge of NetSuite software for accounting and financial management. • Familiarity with Oracle, specifically its financial management solutions. • Experience in using SAP for financial operations and record keeping.
