Description As a Sr. Accountant, you will be tasked with the crucial role of preparing and maintaining financial records and statements, as well as reviewing and reconciling general ledger activities. This role also includes conducting variance analysis and assisting in yearly audits. Responsibilities: • Execute precise preparation of monthly financial statements • Accurately reconcile general ledger activities and balance sheet accounts • Conduct comprehensive review and audit of subsystem interfaces to the general ledger • Collaboratively assist in the execution of the year-end audit • Lead and manage assigned special projects efficiently • Carry out thorough variance analysis and provide detailed explanations • Review balance sheet account reconciliations and propose improvements when necessary • Prepare and review journal entries meticulously. Requirements + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. + CPA certification a plus, but not required. + Experience working in accounting systems (ex: Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.) + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and strong attention to detail.
