Description Robert Half is actively recruiting for a strong Sr Accountant/ Consultant for our privately held Construction client. The consultant’s primary responsibilities will be performing monthly close activities, including account reconciliations, journal entries and preparation of financial statements. In addition, the consultant will perform AR (invoice posting, billings, collections) and process payroll and assist with HR functions in areas of maintaining employee records. Skills: -Construction / Manufacturing experience preferred - Knowledge of Foundation ERP or similar Construction ERP (SAGE) -Strong Excel skills required -Excellent written/verbal communication skills required -Must be able to work independently Requirements • Applicant must hold a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role as a Senior Accountant • Proficient in Account Reconciliation, expected to handle discrepancies and irregularities efficiently • Must have expertise in Balance Sheet Reconciliation, ensuring accurate financial reporting • Experience with General Ledger management is necessary; candidate should be capable of maintaining and updating financial records • Proficiency in creating and managing Journal Entries is required • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must; candidate should be capable of using advanced functions for financial tracking and reporting • Experience with Month End Close procedures, ensuring all financial data is recorded accurately and timely • Knowledge of Payroll processing and management is expected, ensuring accurate and on-time payouts • Proficiency in managing Accounts Receivable (AR) is necessary, ensuring timely collection and accurate record-keeping.
