Description We are in search of a senior accountant to assist our client located in San Francisco. In this role, you will be tasked with managing complex payroll issues and will also compile data for audits. This role offers the opportunity for a long-term contract employment. Responsibilities: • Support payroll-related reporting requests. • Ensure the accuracy and reconciliation of data across multiple financial systems, including Workday, ADP, and Oracle. • Handle the thorough reconciliation of payroll-owned GL accounts during the month-end close. • Oversee quarterly payroll data with payroll tax returns and GL for accurate reporting. • Research and resolve complex payroll issues at both the employee and organizational level. Requirements • Proficiency in account reconciliation is mandatory. • Must have hands-on experience with balance sheet reconciliation. • Experience in bank reconciliations is required. • Familiarity with general ledger tasks is expected. • Ability to make accurate journal entries is essential. • Experience in conducting month end close activities is required. • Familiarity with Oracle ERP system is expected.
