Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity in Olathe, Kansas, for a Sr. Accountant in the finance industry. As a Sr. Accountant, your role will be pivotal in maintaining financial records and ensuring that financial transactions are properly recorded. This includes bank reconciliations, reconciliations of ledger accounts, journal entries, and the preparation of various finance reports. Responsibilities: • Ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of account reconciliations • Conducting balance sheet reconciliations regularly to maintain financial transparency • Performing bank reconciliations to ensure financial integrity • Managing and maintaining the general ledger for accurate financial records • Preparing and entering detailed journal entries for record-keeping • Utilizing Microsoft Excel for data analysis and financial reporting • Overseeing the month-end close process to ensure timely and accurate financial information.
