Description We are seeking a skilled Sr. Accountant to join our team in College Point, New York, United States. In this role, you will be handling accounts payable and receivable, along with account reconciliation in a dynamic environment. Responsibilities: • Manage and process Accounts Payable (AP) transactions • Oversee and handle Accounts Receivable (AR) operations • Conduct regular account reconciliation tasks • Ensure accuracy of all financial records • Respond to and resolve any account-related inquiries • Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions • Maintain up-to-date records of all transactions. Requirements • Must possess strong skills in Account Reconciliation • Proficiency in managing Accounts Payable (AP) is required • Demonstrable experience with Accounts Receivable (AR) is essential • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field is necessary • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role is required • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Familiarity with financial regulations and accounting principles • Detail-oriented certification (e.g., CPA) is a plus • High degree of accuracy in work output • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team • Strong organizational and time management skills.
