Description We are looking to add a Sr. Accountant to our team based in Westminster, Colorado. In this role, you will be performing various accounting duties such as processing accounts payable, handling month-end activities, customer billing, and data analysis. This position is a short term contract employment opportunity. Responsibilities: • Execute accounts payable tasks including PO and non-PO transactions • Carry out month-end closing activities which include journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations • Oversee billing and invoicing for a small set of customers • Manage project-based manufacturing fabrication accounting • Conduct job costing and project accounting tasks • Assist in the completion of month-end close within a 10-day schedule • Collaborate with the Global Shop Controller on WIP reconciliations • Perform bank reconciliations, post depreciation, and credit card transactions • Execute data analysis tasks using Excel, utilizing basic functions such as vlookups and pivot tables • Participate in cross-training initiatives after new hires join the team. Requirements • Candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the field of accounting • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is required • Expertise in Balance Sheet Reconciliation is necessary • Experience in Bank Reconciliations is a must • Knowledge and application of General Ledger is expected • Ability to perform Journal Entries accurately and efficiently is desired • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential • Experience in performing Month End Close tasks is required • Knowledge and use of Oracle is an added advantage • Familiarity with SAP is a plus Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
