Description
We are in search of a Sr. Accountant to join our clients team in Wilsonville, Oregon. In this role, you will be tasked with overseeing banking activities, leading the billing process, preparing preliminary financial statements, and conducting variance analysis. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee and manage general ledger entries
• Direct the billing process using net health software
• Execute the preparation of preliminary financial statements
• Conduct preliminary variance analysis
• Monitor banking activities and record entries to the general ledger
• Lead the billing process
• Utilize skills in account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, bank reconciliations, general ledger, journal entries, Microsoft Excel, and month-end close.
Requirements • Proficiency in account reconciliation is a must.
• Demonstrable experience in balance sheet reconciliation is required.
• Adequate knowledge and experience in bank reconciliations is necessary.
• Capability to manage and maintain the general ledger is expected.
• Proficiency in making journal entries is essential.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel are required.
• Experience in conducting month-end close is necessary.
• Proficiency in using Sage Intacct is desirable.
• Previous experience in a healthcare, hospital or social assistance setting is a plus.
