Description Robert Half is excited to partner with a reputable non-profit organization in Colorado Springs to welcome an experienced Senior Accountant to their team. Our client is seeking a Senior Accountant with a 4-year degree in accounting and 5+ years of full-cycle accounting experience to include month-end close. In this role you will work closely with the Director of Accounting on a variety of accounting tasks including managing accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, banking, and credit card reconciliations. Prepare and reconcile monthly trial balances and assist with strategic financial reporting. Collaborate on annual budget cycles, providing insights to guide critical organizational decisions. Requirements • Possess proficient knowledge in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) • Demonstrated experience with General Ledger management • Ability to perform Bank Reconciliations accurately and efficiently • Skilled in Credit Card Reconciliation • Experience in preparing Trial Balance • Strong Financial Analysis skills • Proficient in Billing processes and Revenue Cycle Processes • Ability to generate accurate Financial Reports • Experience in Cash Management and Bank Deposit procedures • Understanding and ability to manage Balance Sheets • Ability to record Journal Entries accurately • Experience in Month End Close procedures • Ability to contribute to the Annual Budget process • Proficient in Financial Statement Preparation • Experience with Tax - Form 990 and Form 1099 • Ability to manage Payroll processes • Experience in Grant Accounting • Proficiency in Abila MIP software • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
