Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Sr. Accountant in Richmond, Virginia. The role is primarily situated within the software industry, and the workplace is a dynamic environment where the successful candidate will need to manage different accounting functions. Responsibilities: • Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy • Handle account reconciliations to maintain financial integrity • Utilize Microsoft Excel for various accounting tasks • Execute month end close processes to finalize monthly financials • Prepare journal entries to track financial transactions • Leverage software like NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP for various accounting tasks • Perform balance sheet reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy • Maintain and manage the general ledger for consistent record-keeping.
