Description We are actively searching for a Sr. Accountant to join our team, based in Dallas, Texas. This role is pivotal in maintaining the financial health and integrity of our organization. As a Sr. Accountant, you will be involved in intricate accounting procedures, from managing vendor relationships to ensuring accurate and timely month-end close. This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals with a strong background in accounting and finance. Responsibilities: • Oversee full cycle accounting operations to ensure accurate financial reporting • Execute journal entries and manage general ledger activities • Perform account reconciliation to identify and rectify any discrepancies • Manage contract negotiations, ensuring the best terms and conditions for the organization • Maintain vendor relationships and manage vendor-related transactions • Execute cash accounting procedures, ensuring accuracy and compliance • Oversee financial operations across multiple sites and entities • Leverage software such as QuickBooks • Perform balance sheet reconciliation and bank reconciliations • Utilize Microsoft Excel for data analysis and financial reporting • Ensure a timely and accurate month-end close process Requirements • Candidate must hold a minimum of 3 years of experience as a Sr. Accountant. • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is required. • Experience in Balance Sheet Reconciliation is essential. • Familiarity with Bank Reconciliations is necessary. • Knowledge of General Ledger maintenance and management is expected. • Ability to make accurate Journal Entries is a must. • Proficient in Microsoft Excel for financial data analysis and reporting. • Experience with Month End Close procedures is required.
