Description We are offering a contract to full-time position as a Sr. Accountant in Jacksonville, Florida. As a Sr. Accountant, you will be responsible for a variety of accounting operations, including Accounts Payable (A/P), Accounts Receivable (A/R), Journal Entries, General Ledger (GL) Analysis, and Month-End Close. Proficiency in QuickBooks is highly preferred. Responsibilities: • Oversee the day-to-day accounting operations • Efficiently manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable • Prepare and post Journal Entries • Conduct General Ledger Analysis • Handle Month-End Close processes • Reconcile Account and Balance Sheet • Manage Bank Reconciliations • Utilize Microsoft Excel for data management and analysis • Use QuickBooks for accounting tasks Requirements • Must possess strong skills in account reconciliation • Should have a solid understanding of balance sheet reconciliation processes • Needs to have experience with bank reconciliations • Must be proficient in managing and maintaining the general ledger • Should have the ability to accurately record and maintain journal entries • Expected to be highly proficient in Microsoft Excel • Must have experience with month-end close procedures • Familiarity with QuickBooks is a prerequisite Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
