Description
We are seeking a Sr. Accountant to join our team in Dallas, Texas on a contract basis. In this role, you will be working extensively with Oracle Fusion Cloud in a payroll reconciliation capacity and dealing with a backlog of reconciliations. This opportunity offers a short term contract employment opportunity (2-months). Hybrid work schedule: Onsite 3 days a week in Dallas, Texas 75019.
Responsibilities:
• Utilize Oracle Fusion Cloud for payroll reconciliations, ensuring all payroll accruals are updated and accurate
• Handle a backlog of reconciliations, bringing them up to date in a timely and efficient manner
• Apply your expertise in payroll processing to correct errors as they arise
• Independently manage your workload with minimal supervision
• Exhibit strong time management skills to meet critical deadlines
• Apply your knowledge of PeopleSoft, although this is not a mandatory requirement
• Use your effective analytical skills to sort, check, and verify payroll figures
• Demonstrate your ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Display meticulous attention to detail in all aspects of your work
• Show strong communication skills in dealing with colleagues and external parties
• Familiarize yourself with enterprise business systems to improve efficiency and effectiveness
• Showcase your advanced proficiency in Oracle, especially in the payroll function
• Draw on your experience with legacy payroll systems to enhance your performance in this role.
Requirements • Possession of a minimum of 5 years of experience in a Senior Accountant role.
• Proficiency in Oracle Cloud and Oracle Fusion is mandatory.
• Proven experience in Process Documentation is required.
• Must have hands-on experience with PeopleSoft.
• Ability to Reconcile Payroll accurately and efficiently.
• Expertise in Payroll Tax Reporting is essential.
• Previous experience in the Restaurant industry is highly desirable.
