Sr ACCOUNTANT I AT PRIMEFLIGHT
The Sr Accountant I will support accurate and timely financial reporting by performing routine accounting activities, assisting with month-end close processes, and maintaining financial records. The role will help ensure compliance with accounting standards, assist with audits, and offer input for process improvements. This position requires a strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining compliance with financial regulations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist in the preparation of month end and year end close processes Ensure accounting transactions adhere to US GAAP Reconcile general ledger accounts and assist with intercompany transactions Analyze financial data and provide insights on variances to budget and forecasts Prepare documentation and assist with annual audits Monitor financial data for accuracy and integrity Identify areas for improvement in accounting processes and systems Maintain financial controls and ensure adherence to internal policies Support special projects and other duties as assigned by management May be assigned other duties as required
QUALIFICATIONS
18 years of age or older Eligible to work in the United States Ability to work in office, onsite, Monday-Friday Bachelor’s degree in accounting required 1-3 years of accounting experience, public accounting experience is a plus CPA designation or working towards CPA a plus Experience with Sage X3 or similar accounting software is a plus Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently Highly proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language, to include documents Bilingual in English/Spanish a plus Ability to access and interpret information in print and electronically, including the use electronic devices including IPads/Tablets, Computers, and Mobile Devices Effectively communicate with colleagues and clients, both in-person and through electronic means Pass a background check and drug screen Must be flexible to work extended hours on occasion to support our field operations
